Salman Khan’s fans flock to actor’s Bandra house to show their support after firing incident – WATCH |

In a display of solidarity, fans of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan gathered outside his residence in Bandra to show their unwavering support in the wake of Sunday’s firing incident, carried out by members of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.
Hours after the police investigating teams finished their sweep of the area, fans headed to Salman’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in large numbers and stood outside in silence to show their support. The gathering seemed rather spontaneous with many fans grouping up around the actor’s home and looking up at his balcony, where he last made his appearance on the festival of Eid.
Videos circulating on social media captured the heartfelt scenes. Despite the late hours, the crowd continued to swell, with many expressing their outrage over the alarming incident and standing in support of ‘bhai’.

Those who could not make it to the star’s house voiced their support on social media. Many took to their handles to share their sentiments, using hashtags such as #WeStandWithSalmanKhan. On Sunday morning, outraged fans of the Bollywood superstar took to their handles to hold the Maharashtra CM Eknaht Shinde and the Mumbai Police accountable for the lapse in security. “What is happening?” they asked prompting the CM to issue a statement on the matter.

On hearing the growing calls for accountability and swift action against the gunmen, Shinde said in a statement to the media, “I spoke with the Mumbai police commissioner and actor Salman Khan and offered him our support. The firing incident is very unfortunate. I assure people that this government will not tolerate anybody trying to take the law into their hands.”

Shinde also discussed this with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and suggested increasing Salman Khan’s security.

As investigations into the firing incident continue, Police have issued an FIR and are on the lookout to find the two men who fired shots at the actor’s building.
