The anticipated first season of ‘Parasyte: The Grey’ made its debut on April 5. With six episodes packed full of suspense, action, and intrigue, the series offers a fresh take on the classic parasite invasion storyline. Set in a world where extraterrestrial parasites descend upon Earth, ‘Parasyte: The Grey’ shows the chilling consequences of their arrival.These parasites possess the ability to take control of human hosts by infiltrating their brains and bodies.
At the center of the narrative is Jung Soo In (Jeon So Nee), whose life takes a harrowing turn when she becomes infected by a parasite that latches onto her hand. Rather than succumb to its control, Soo In made a strange cohabitation with the parasite. Meanwhile, Seol Kang Woo (Koo Kyo Hwan) is another protagonist in the series, who is making efforts to find his missing sister. Alongside him is Choi Jun Kyung (Lee Jung Hyun), the determined team leader of ‘The Grey’, a specialized unit dedicated to eradicating the parasitic threat.
The series has already captured the attention of viewers, garnering a range of reactions on social media platforms from those who have tuned in.
