Bhumi Pednekar will be seen teaming up with Arjun Kapoor, very soon, in their upcoming film. The movie which is reportedly titled The Lady Killer has been quite tough to pull off, as Arjun, in an interview said that it was a very emotionally taxing film.
As she talks about the project, Bhumi too echoes Arjun’s words saying, “Yes, and I do feel that this is maybe one of the most challenging films that I have ever done in my career.And I proudly say that as I have done a whole bunch of movies that have really pushed me, and made me push my boundaries, but this one specifically is not easy. I think it’s a new genre for both of us too.”
The actress feels blessed to have a co-star like Arjun, because of whom she could pull off a project like this with ease. She says, “I have found such a good friend in Arjun. We have done two films together and I think he is such a trooper in so many ways. We have been such good friends and the comfort level was immense. For a film like the one we are talking about… I feel shooting with a friend kind of made the process easier because trust me this is one film where I was like, ‘Okay I can’t take it anymore’.Directed by Ajay Bahl, the film is a suspense drama thriller which follows the whirlwind romance of a small-town ‘playboy’ played by Arjun and a ‘self-destructive beauty’ played by Bhumi. It also stars Rakul Preet Singh in an interesting role.
